The Arc of the Moral Universe . . .

This drawing is inspired by the famous line, ". . . I believe that somehow the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" delivered by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in his Wesleyan University commencement address in 1964. This drawing attempts to visualize Dr. King’s idea and asks the viewer to consider how slightly, if at all, the arc is currently bending. It is a reminder and a call to action that this bending must progress more rapidly and it is up to us to bend it.
